Light sculptures emerge from this painted theater ceiling to raise and lower like the rising and setting sun over New Mexico. The visual narrative draws inspiration from the colors and history of New Mexico and its cultural heritage of dance performance.
“Arroyo,” an additional mural in the theater lobby, comes into view as a continuing landscape or out of view into abstraction, depending upon one’s vantage point.
